Undecember is a free-to-play download on PC, Android, and iOS. It’s a hack-and-slash ARPG in the vein of Diablo featuring intense combat and free-for-all battle tactics. With no limitations on weapons use, players can build their ideal characters, switching between fighting styles as needed. Like most ARPG games, it features a skill tree in which players can decide which skill to emphasize while building up their character’s stats.
The rune and zodiac systems in Undecember are complex, even for more seasoned game players. Learning how to use them effectively will allow for stunning displays of power and accuracy on the battlefield, guaranteeing victory over the enemy. While the tutorial is long, it leaves much to be desired when teaching how to use some of these features.
8/8 Don’t Forget The Rewards
One thing players will want to remember is to redeem the in-game rewards. Like many games, Undecember offers various types, including daily login bonuses. There are even incremental rewards for playing for up to an hour a day.
These bonuses can be anything from identification scrolls to resurrection scrolls, making them very beneficial. Currency bonuses are also prevalent for achievement rewards. With minimal effort, players can receive extremely useful items that help them through their quests.
7/8 Hold Onto Those Normal Items
While ordinary items may not seem like they have many benefits and take up precious space in a player’s pack, they shouldn’t just be thrown away or sold for minimal profit. Many of these items can be enchanted to produce magic items that are more useful to gameplay.
Alternatively, extra items can be disassembled for parts. These parts can then be used to enchant or upgrade other things. Money is not essential at the start of the game, so players should focus on as many upgrades as possible, using what items they have available instead of selling them.
6/8 Be Mindful Of The Size Of The Pack
While loot drops at the beginning of any game can be exciting, especially when the player is unfamiliar with what the items do, in Undecember, the pack can only hold 100 items. Players will want to be mindful of how many items they pick up, so they don’t fill up their pack on a quest, preventing them from obtaining essential items that enemies drop.
They will have the option to upgrade the pack; however, this will cost premium currency. It will be more cost-effective to monitor what goes into the pack than to invest in an upgrade.
5/8 Upgrade Weapons As Soon As Possible
Players will need materials, such as essence, to upgrade their weapons. Visiting a blacksmith will give them all the information they need on what each weapon requires to be improved. If they do not have the requirements on hand, they can go out in search of them.
Enchanting weapons will also make them more powerful, adding perks they didn’t have before. This step requires essence, which can be obtained from monsters or through disassembling extra weapons that are no longer needed. This is another excellent reason to hold onto average items instead of simply selling them.
4/8 Don’t Forget To Equip Collected Runes
Players can collect runes all day long, but they are useless if they don’t equip them. Skill runes allow players to use specific skills related to the weapons type they equip on their characters. Link runes power up skill runes to make them more. Runestones can enchant skill runes, creating more powerful attacks.
Skill and link runes can be obtained from completing missions and achievements or talking to the mystic. Once equipped, they can be added to the player’s arsenal of attack moves for battle.
3/8 Upgrade Movement Speed
Traveling by foot can be slow. The good news is players can upgrade their characters’ footwear to make them move at a brisker pace. Gliding through the lands of Undecember sounds a lot better than a slow slog.
Players will need to add movement modifications to the footwear of choice. Choosing boots with a high-speed rating will make the effects even more noticeable. In addition to traversing the land more quickly, they will be able to escape a dire situation before they get taken down by the enemy.
2/8 Use Stat Points As They Become Available
Players must update their stats as points become available according to their chosen weapons class. The three stats to improve are Dexterity, Intelligence, and Strength. Each one favors a specific kind of weapon, so improving it will improve the use of that weapon. By not improving their stats, players can be at a severe disadvantage when facing off with stronger enemies.
Those players who choose a bow-focused build will want to improve Dexterity over the other options. Melee builds need Strength, and magic builds need Intelligence. For players that constantly switch between weapons, a focus will need to be made on the stats for all weapons frequently used.
1/8 Break The Landscape
A lot of the landscape is not just for decoration. Players can destroy plenty of things along the way through their adventure. Common items to break include rocks, wagons, crates, and urns.
Often hidden Inside these items are treasures to help the players along their journey. From money to potions, checking is worth the effort.
