They said Emily is the intelligent one but I'm just not seeing any hint of that

I remember watching your Playthrough and then saying “Nooo this looks TOO good! I have to play this game myself” and I had to force myself not to watch the rest of the play through and I didn’t watch anything on this game until I was able to play it myself and I somehow managed to single-handedly save everybody! I did look up a walk-through for the last like 10 minutes of the game because I was so close and I so wanted everybody to live 😂😂😂😂 I still have this game but unfortunately the HDMI ports on my only TV do not work and I cannot hook the PlayStation 4 that was gifted to me up to the TV I have now so a replay will have to wait until I find a decently priced HDMI compatible TV 😢😭😭😭

Side note: I am SO glad that it wasn’t just me that had issues with the motion controls because that very last part where you have to set it still or ne detected I had a pillow specifically in front of me to set it on because it kept messing up on me 😩😭

I was excited to see this game, but I am disappointed of the game using Indigenous people and culture(s). Totems are scared, and it’s poor storytelling if you need to lean on Indigenous people for plot device.

1:26:40 something about this whole sequence is off.. she falls down, but it doesn't show her getting back up.. she says 7 limbs.. and she seems generally just un-phased by it.

I have to replay this game now. That first interaction between Matt, Emily and Mike made me remember why I like Mike so much. He's trying to stay cheerful in a weird ass situation, he's not being an ass about Emily dating Matt, and he even takes the high ground if you decide to choose the threaten option. "fine, whatever. I'll go be all mature and shit by myself." and his reaction to the option Jack chooses both make him come off as a likeable character.

He pretty much won me over by the point you look in the binoculars. I remember back then a lot of people freaking out over him talking to Emily, calling them both cheaters but like… that's such a insecure way of thinking and immature. People can and are friends with their ex's. My sister's current fiancée is friend with her ex husband, and so is she. They're all chill. His new girlfriend doesn't like that he's friends with my sister. But there's just a bond there when you're together with someone and go through hardships that they went through, and if someone can't see or understand that, then maybe that's not the relationship for them.

I was always annoyed when I would read comments about Mike and Emily being 'the worst' and 'cheaters' just because they talked and had a goddamn hug. Quit reacting like an emotionally constipated highschooler and react like a mature adult.

When I first watched an until dawm playthrough Rami Malek to me was just Kenny from the war at home

I'm about 90% sure that Sean made the exact same banana slice pillow joke in the last series lmao

All I think about when I see this game is “break me off a piece of that KitKat bar”

i know this entire playthrough is spoiler ridden but, anyway, SPOILER WARNING! (for until dawn and a bit of the quarry)

since we already know josh is the one responsible for all the twisted "pranks" that weren't intended to hurt anyone, seeing our first scene with Dr. Hill seriously reinforces the entire ending, because josh was off his meds a while before he invited everyone back down to the cabin the second time, and in josh's head it's all a game, and that's exactly what Dr. Hill is talking about everytime he says "your game" he's technically talking to the player, but in reality it's just josh hallucinating. every time we see Dr. Hill it's josh hallucinating, which is why it degrades over time, it's his subconscious trying to discipline him and get him back on the right path because that's the role model that Dr. Hill was intended to be for josh as his therapist. which is SO cool to think about watching this again. until dawn for it's time is seriously so much better than the quarry. the quarry was a huge disappointment, so many missed opportunities and such a lack lustre ending.

I couldn't stand Jessica and Mike. Or Emily. They're all pretty unforgivable to me especially Mike since he never showed any remorse for what happened and always denied any responsibility in what happens to Hannah and Beth. Matt hasn't shown remorse, but he isn't given a chance to plus I felt so bad for him because of how Emily treats him, so I feel bad when he dies. Ashley shows the most guilt and had the most opportunity to do so and is generally pretty likeable. I liked Sam, Chris and Josh the most from the start since they didn't partake in the so-called prank and that stayed true, but I felt bad for Josh the more I learned about him.
