This was my first souls game ever and It's fucking amazing. I got to level 217 in my first playthrough. Took me a few hours to get the hang of dodging. Killed Malenia in 1 hour with 24 tries and no summons, which I hear isn't as bad as I thought it was.
The Age of Stars is essentially Ranni abolishing a religion (The Golden Order) and leaving the people to their own devices, while we as the player, and her, embark on a journey into darkness and loneliness ourselves. Even with the current translation in the game, it's less obvious but I think it still means that. I highly doubt it means she wants to leave the people with no emotion, in darkness and completely alone. That's just my take though.
Malenia does know that miquella isn't there,she literally says "as i awaited his return"

I would love to see you play Sekiro. I haven't played bloodborne because I dont have a playstation but I have played Sekiro and I am playing elden ring right now and I just love the feel of Sekiro's combat. Anyway I really enjoyed seeing you play Elden Ring it was a lot of fun makes me wanna play it even more.
Just beat Malenia for the second time as well! Used a +25 Twinblade with the black flame tornado ash of war. Completely stomped her.
