Stone Ocean is the sixth part of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. The anime adaptation has been airing on Netflix and it has proven to be another success with the fans. The animators at David Production have really worked hard to deliver another quality anime.
Like any other JoJo part, StoneOcean is filled with some powerful characters. Most of these characters possess strong Stands and those who don’t make up for it by using their intelligence. So, whenever there has been a fight in the series, it has been incredibly exciting. However, not all of the fights are of the same quality.
Updated on September 7, 2022, by Suzail Ahmad:After a very long wait, the second batch of episodes of Stone Ocean has finally dropped on Netflix, and the fans will be able to see Jolyne and her group back in action. It is about time that Netflix released the next batch considering the first twelve episodes came out in November 2021. The upcoming episodes continue to follow Jolyne as she tries to save her father, but her path is filled with numerous obstacles. Jolyne has to face numerous opponents in order to get closer to Pucci. Almost every fight that Jolyne is involved in is outstanding and the viewers will be hoping to see more enthralling fights in the upcoming episodes.
Warning: Stone Ocean anime is still ongoing, and this list includes fights that have not been animated.
14 Jolyne and Ermes VS. Rikiel
On their quest to beat Pucci, Jolyne and Ermes encountered Rikiel, one of DIO’s sons. The battle between them was quite astonishing as it was not just about outsmarting each other but it was also a test of their resolve.
Rikiel’s abilities increased or decreased depending on his self-confidence, which gave the fight several highs and lows. Towards the end of the fight, Rikiel set himself on fire just to have a chance at beating Jolyne, but unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to take down the Joestar.
13 Ermes VS. Sports Maxx
Ermes went to prison in order to avenge his sister, who was killed by Sports Maxx. Ermes had to wait a long time for an opportunity to get her hands on him. Once she finally made up her mind, it didn’t take her much time to assassinate him.
Luckily for Sports Maxx, his Stand Limp Bizkit allowed him to revive himself and other things. Maxx used the Stand’s ability quite skillfully, however, Ermes had no intention of letting him escape and she continued to chase after him until he was wiped from existence.
12 Anasui, Weather Report VS. Pucci
The build-up leading to this fight was incredible. Once Weather Report regained his memories, he only sought one thing— defeating Pucci, and he was willing to lose his own life in the process. Despite their numerical advantage, Anasui and Weather Report struggled to deal any kind of damage to Pucci.
However, as the fight dragged on, Anasui and Weather Report managed to overwhelm their opponent, and it came to the point where Weather Report was a punch away from killing Pucci. Unfortunately, a passing car separated the two brothers, which gave Pucci the opportunity to punch through Weather’s chest.
11 Jotaro, Jolyne VS. Johngalli A.
Before Jotaro turned up inside the prison, Jolyne absolutely despised him. She was raised by her mother, while Jotaro was busy with work, and because of this, she grew up hating her father.
There are different stages in this fight, which makes it quite confusing. At the beginning of the fight, Jotaro and Jolyne start hallucinating, which allows Johngalli A. to attack them easily. Fearing that his daughter might die, Jotaro pushes her out of harm’s way and ends up falling prey to Whitesnake. The fight was very significant to Jolyne’s character development as she started to understand the reason behind Jotaro’s actions.
10 Jolyne, Ermes, And Foo Fighters VS. Miraschon
Miraschon approaches Jolyne, Foo Fighters, and Ermes, who are playing catch. She challenges them that they won’t be able to complete 100 throws. After completing the first bet, Miraschon offers them another one. Ermes and co. accept, but Ermes’ glove is taken away by the guard.
She has to cheat to get the glove back, which results in Miraschon’s Stand taking away Ermes’ liver and her golden tooth. Jolyne and Foo Fighters continue to play and eventually with a bit of cunning from Jolyne, they defeat Miraschon.
9 Jolyne And Emporio VS. Miu Miu
Miu Miu’s Jail House Lock allows her to affect any person and causes them to remember only three pieces of information at a time. Any new information would immediately replace the oldest memory. Jolyne struggles a lot in the fight against Miu Miu, but with some help from Emporio, she was eventually able to defeat Miu Miu.
8 Jolyne and Weather Report VS. Jumpin’ Jack Flash
Like many fights in Stone Ocean, there are more than two people involved in this one. This fight takes place as Jolyne tries to reach the courtyard, where she can meet the agent from the Speedwagon Foundation.
She makes her way towards the courtyard along with Weather Report and on her way she is attacked by Lang Rangler. He uses his Stand, Jumpin’ Jack Flash’s power to remove the gravity from Jolyne. Jolyne and Weather Report nearly die in the fight, but Weather’s Stand ability allows Jolyne to pummel Lang Rangler.
7 Foo Fighter, Anasui VS. Dragon’s Dream
This particular fight involves a very unique Stand called Dragon’s Dream. The Stand is neutral and cannot fight, but Kenzou could use the Stand’s power with the help of Feng Shui. Jolyne, who was heavily wounded from the fight with Westwood is helped out by Foo Fighters.
Foo Fighters engages in a fight with Kenzou, and the fight between the two drags on for a while. In addition to risking their own life, Foo Fighters needed the support of Anasui to kill Kenzou.
6 Anasui And Weather Report VS. Bohemian Rhapsody
After Jolyne gets out of prison, Anasui and Weather break out as well. As they break out, Weather Report saves an old man, who later offers them life on his truck. While on his truck, they are attacked by Bohemian Rhapsody, which is the Stand of Ungalo.
Both Anasui and Weather were dragged into the world of fictional characters, and they were really close to dying. But, Weather bumped into Van Gogh and asked him to paint another fictional character, who managed to put all the fictional characters back in their place.
5 Jolyne And Ermes VS. Donatello Versus
Jolyne and Ermes face off against another of DIO’s illegitimate sons, Versus, who is among the better villains in Part 6. They encounter Versus inside the hospital, where they end up getting inside the memory of a plane crash. Donatello’s Under World allows him to dig up memories from the past and any individual who experiences these memories has to go through all the events again.
Jolyne and Ermes are caught inside the memory of a plane crash, which only had two survivors. The two combine their Stand powers to save the sick children, and Jolyne unravels herself and hides inside Ermes.
4 Jolyne VS. Westwood
When Jolyne was sent to the Ultra House Security Unit, she was involved in arguably the most gruesome fight in the entire JoJo series. Under the influence of Survivor, Viviano Westwood frees the prisoners and attacks Jolyne.
Throughout the entire fight, Jolyne sustains many serious injuries and she barely manages to stand her ground. However, with her quick thinking, she managed to deflect one of Viviano’s Stand attacks back towards him and headbutts him to put him out of commission.
3 Jolyne And Jotaro VS. Whitesnake
After finding out that his daughter is trapped inside the prison, Jotaro got inside the prison and talks to Jolyne. As they continue to talk, they are both put in a state of hallucination. When they wake up, Jotaro and Jolyne are attacked by Johgalli A. Jotaro sends his daughter crashing out of the room, but leaves himself vulnerable to Whitesnake’s attack, who takes two discs from Jotaro.
2 Jolyne And Anasui VS. C-Moon
With DIO’s knowledge, Pucci managed to turn his Whitesnake into C-Moon, which is a very strong Stand. Since it is a remote-controlled Stand, Pucci was easily able to hide away. C-Moon was able to overwhelm Jolyne, but once the latter managed to figure out the Stand’s power, she was able to fight back. With some help from Anasui, Jolyne manages to bring out Pucci.
1 Enrico Pucci VS. Jolyne’s Group
After finally achieving his goal of evolving his Stand, Pucci became the strongest character in the series. With the power of Made in Heaven, Pucci was able to take on Jolyne’s entire group on his own.
The Stand can accelerate time as it holds dominion over the forces of gravity of the moon, the earth, and presumably the entire universe. The fight between Pucci and the group resulted in the death of Jotaro, Jolyne, Anasui, Ermes. Only Emporio survived and it was because of Jolyne, who used her Stand to send him away from Pucci.
